Poole Borough Band played at Pelham Park, Kinson for the Bank Holiday Donkey Derby. The band have the best view of the races since we are sat in the middle of the track. A fun afternoon for everyone!

Yesterday, at Canford School Regatta, was the last official engagement of our percussionist, Dafydd. The youngest member of the band has been keeping the rest of us in time for several years. Now Dafydd is taking time out to concentrate on A Levels and then is off to Loughborough University in October for new adventures. He will be very much missed, as will his Dad and roadie, Nick, who has been so supportive over the years. We hope he will visit us during university holidays.
