Poole Borough Band was formed in the mid 19th Century, and originally comprised of brass and woodwind instruments. Over the years it became an exclusively brass band and now has a committed regular membership of around 25 players.
The band performs concerts and contests throughout the south of England and although a registered charity itself, supports various others. We are a contesting band and participate in the second section of the West of England region. Our repertoire of music is varied and entertaining and has something to appeal to all tastes.
The band always welcomes new Brass players and Percussionists.
